We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated rigid bracelet set with uncut-diamond-look stones in the Kundan tradition, each stone backed with silver foil to lend depth and lustre. Coloured foil accents - dark green in one colourway and dark pink in the other - sit between the focal stones, giving each variant a distinct jewel-toned character. The piece closes with a figure-of-eight and safety clasp. The overall composition is geometric, with a continuous row of set stones across the band.
