We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A bridal necklace set in dark green, combining Kundan stone setting with fired enamel Meenakari work across the choker necklace, earrings, and teeka. The dark green enamel grounds the composition, with gold-plated Kundan-set Quartz Polki stones providing the focal stonework. Flower motifs are visible across the pieces. The necklace fastens with an adjustable thread/dori tie; the earrings close with push-backs; the teeka secures via a hook.
