We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated jhumka paired with an ear-cuff top component, offered in a dark pink colourway. The focal stonework is set in the Kundan tradition - foil-backed uncut-look stones framed in gold-plated metal - with a peacock motif forming the principal decorative element. The piece fastens with a push-back post at the lobe and a hook at the upper ear. The overall character is ornate and festive, suited to bridal or celebratory dressing.
