We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated pair of danglers set with silver-foiled Kundan stones in the uncut-Polki tradition, lending each piece the characteristic lustre of regal Polki jewellery. Flower motifs punctuate the stonework, and pearl drops complete the lower tier. The push-back fastening secures the earrings comfortably.
