We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated pendant necklace set comprising a necklace and a pair of earrings, each centred on a large Quartz Polki stone set in the Kundan technique with silver foiling. Smaller accent stones surround the focal piece, lending a layered, regal character. The collection is offered in a range of colourways - Blue, Dark Green, Light Green, Baby Pink, Purple, Red, and Multicolor - each achieved through coloured Kundan stone setting. The necklace fastens with a hook closure; earrings carry a push-back fitting.
