We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
This gold-plated necklace set pairs a Kundan-set Quartz Polki choker with a strung pearl belt necklace and matching drop earrings. The focal stones are foil-backed uncut-look Quartz Polki set in the Kundan tradition, accompanied by AAA zircon accents. The set is offered in White, Dark Pink, and Multicolor colourways, each sharing the same gold-plated base and adjustable thread/dori necklace closure. The earrings fasten with push backs.
