We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated layered necklace set featuring Quartz Polki stones set in the Kundan manner with silver foiling, accented by AAA zircon work. The multicolour colourway introduces flower motifs across the necklace and earring panels, lending the set a festive, layered presence. The necklace closes with an adjustable thread/dori tie; the earrings use a push-back fitting. The set includes one necklace and one pair of earrings.
