We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated bangle set with a dense field of flat uncut-diamond-look Quartz Polki stones in Kundan setting, interspersed with clusters of small white stones that frame the surface. Oval cabochon accents in deep ruby-red and emerald-green punctuate the composition at intervals, adding colour contrast to the warm gold ground. The bangle fastens with a screw closure and is offered as a single piece.
