We set these lab-created stones in gold-plated metalwork, keeping the craft and the look while naming the material honestly, as accessible luxury.

Traditional Polki set uncut, unfaceted diamonds in gold foil, prized for a soft brilliance rather than cut sparkle; the setting itself became a Bengali speciality, the karigars of Kolkata among its finest hands. Mortantra keeps that setting craft intact and chooses moissanite - lab-created and responsibly made - to carry the same light. We say so plainly: the tradition lives in the setting, and the brilliance is real.

THE PIECE
A gold-plated layered long necklace set featuring uncut-diamond-look Quartz Moissanite stones set in silver-foiled Kundan settings, drawing on the Polki tradition of Rajasthan and West Bengal. The necklace is composed of multiple strands graduating in length, creating a layered silhouette with substantial visual presence. Coloured accent stones punctuate the centrepiece, adding depth to the overall composition. The set includes one necklace with a hook fastening and one pair of push-back earrings.
